The Power of Epigenetic Hair Scans for Skin Health and Overall Wellness

Are you feeling off or experiencing symptoms and wondering if your body is functioning optimally? Have you struggled with chronic acne or rosacea and nothing seems to help? Well, an epigenetic hair scan could provide the answers you're seeking.

Our bodies work tirelessly to maintain balance and keep us healthy. However, when symptoms arise it may indicate that our body is out of balance. While genes play a role in our body's function, environmental factors and nutrition can influence gene expression through epigenetics. Ensuring we have the right balance of nutrients is crucial for optimal functioning.

What’s a Hair Scan?

Hair serves as a biomarker, offering insights into our body's health over time. Just like the rings in a tree trunk reveal environmental conditions, like wet years, droughts, forest fires, or bug infestations, our hair follicles store information about our internal health. Through Cell Wellbeing’s S-drive technology, an epigenetic hair scan can analyze your hair follicles to identify underlying metabolic conditions and nutritional deficiencies over the past 90 days. Your personalized report will include data on: vitamins, minerals, omega fatty acids, antioxidants, amino acids, potential toxicity exposure, viruses, parasites, and EMF exposure, all which could be negatively affecting your cellular, immune, and metabolic health.

This process involves multiple scans to track progress and address any environmental factors affecting your health. The initial test focuses on nutritional deficiencies, while subsequent tests monitor improvements and adjustments needed to restore balance.

But how does this relate to my skin?

Understanding the link between internal health and skin conditions like acne, rosacea, or premature aging is crucial. Our skin is a reflection of the overall health of our body, serving as a visible indicator of internal imbalances or deficiencies. For instance, hormonal fluctuations, inflammation, oxidative stress, and poor nutrition can manifest as skin issues. Acne and rosacea may indicate hormonal imbalances, dietary factors, or inflammation triggered by gut health or immune system dysfunction. Premature aging can result from oxidative stress due to environmental pollutants, dietary habits, or inadequate nutrient intake.

Addressing these internal factors is essential for effectively managing skin conditions. While topical treatments can provide great results, true long-term improvement requires a holistic approach that considers internal health. By identifying and addressing underlying metabolic conditions, nutritional deficiencies, and environmental stressors through tools like epigenetic hair scanning, individuals can support their body's natural healing processes and promote clearer, healthier skin from within.

At SBC, it’s our mission to have you truly glowing from the inside out. Combining traditional skincare and treatments with personalized dietary adjustments, stress management techniques, and targeted supplementation can yield more comprehensive and sustainable results, ultimately leading to improved skin health and overall wellbeing.

So how do I get started?

My sister Lisa is a Certified Nutrition Coach and will be conducting all of the hair scans. I’m so excited to begin this partnership and be able to offer this resource to all of my clients!! You can find her information below, but you can reach out to me as well if you have any questions!

Reach out to her via email or DM to schedule an initial consultation (contact info below). Upon payment, you'll receive a testing kit with instructions for collecting and mailing your hair sample. Results are typically available within a week and will be reviewed with you during a follow-up meeting. The report includes recommendations on foods to avoid, foods or supplements to consume, and tips for managing environmental factors.

Regular follow-ups every 30 days allow us to track your progress and schedule subsequent tests every 90 days to ensure we're addressing any ongoing issues effectively. With this approach, we can work together to optimize your health and ensure we are making progress and filling in those nutritional gaps.
